And justice for all …

For almost 70 years, Karlsruhe has been the seat of the Federal Constitutional Court in Germany. It is here that men and women in long robes pronounce important judgements. Apart from the Federal Constitutional Court itself, Karlsruhe is home to many legal institutions and landmarks. Chief among these is Platz der Grundrechte, a public art installation that explores – in a wide variety of ways – what law and justice mean for the individual and for our democracy. The heart of the installation, found between Schlossplatz and Karlsruher Zirkel, is regarded as one of the city’s most impressive squares, particularly after dark. And the best thing about it is that you can pass your own judgement on it. So what are you waiting for? No stop till Karlsruhe!
